Washington, D.C. is definitely among the most underrated US cities – at least that’s what we felt after our visit. How could it have not been on our bucket list? Actually, we didn’t know much about it and though the White House and the US Capitol seemed very nice in the pictures we’ve seen, but that was not a good enough reason for us to visit.
Then we just happened to visit it last summer. And we’ve fallen in love! We loved the beautiful architecture, the lovely parks, the cool museums… and the whole atmosphere of DC. If New York City is the never-sleeping, Las Vegas is the crazy, Miami is the sun & fun, San Francisco is the wild & free, then Washington, D.C. is the magnificent.
Here’s 15 of our favorite pictures to help you fallin’ in love, too – or at least, giving it a chance.
