Photo Essay: Raindrops

Everyone knows that the sun shines even more beautifully after the rain. But there’s something else that can also be very spectacular: raindrops. These tiny droplets on leaves and flowers can sparkle like diamonds. I also like photographing them, because they give plants a touch of liveliness and freshness. The small things that make life beautiful. 🙂

“Perfect happiness is a beautiful sunset, the giggle of a grandchild, the first snowfall. It’s the little things that make happy moments, not the grand events. Joy comes in sips, not gulps.” (Sharon Draper)

“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” (Dolly Parton)

“A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener.” (Henry David Thoreau)
