We’ve visited Portugal for the first time last year. I had the feeling we’d love it because how could we not love a country that has such a long ocean coastline? 😀 It turned out to be true – only the ocean coast was even more stunning than what we expected.
We drove along the Western coastline and then spent almost a week in Algarve. This southernmost region of Portugal was the highlight of our trip! Not only we found some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet (really, just take a look), but we were amazed by all the colors of this region.
Golden sand and emerald green bays.
Red, orange and yellow cliffs.
Clear blue skies and deep blue ocean.
The sun that sets the landscape on fire.
This is the landscape we are dreaming about in the cold winter months.
