Central Park Scenes, New York

Central Park was our favorite place to hang out in New York City. It was not the most breathtaking thing we’ve seen there (that was the panorama from the top of One World Trade Center), or not the most amazing walk we’ve had (that was our walk on Brooklyn Bridge), or not the place to feel the past (that was our Statue Of Liberty and Ellis Island tour).
But Central Park was just the loveliest place for chilling out: the lakes and gardens, the castle and the lawns with the skyscraper panorama in the background… It’s ‘just a park’, but still it has such a unique charm as no other park in the world. And we felt like we’ve already been there a thousand times. Probably because of all the movie scenes in our heads, but that only added to its charm.
It’s a green oasis in the heart of Manhattan and it was our little (uhm… actually, quite big) oasis during our adventures in the busy, crowded, amazing, never-sleeping New York City. And here’s some of our favorite pictures to give a taste…
Bethesda Terrace, the place to get nostalgic with your favorite movie scenes:
Conservatory Garden, the quiet and romantic getaway:
… okay, with some cheeky and playful sparrows:
… but still mostly peaceful and quiet:
If you love fountains, there’s some to discover:
And the view with which you can never get bored:

Central Park is one of my favorite places to go in the City and I love to see the changes that occur in the park every season!
We’ve only been there in the summer, other seasons we’ve seen in movies haha. But NY is definitely not just a one-visit city, we’d love to be back!
