We are not especially fond of the colder part of the year. Our mood usually reaches its low around November when skies and landscapes become grey, weather turns cold and wet, and we don’t want to go anywhere or do anything. Fortunately, December cheers us up with lots of Christmas magic and, hopefully, with the first snowfall. Like this year.
Actually, we were still kids last time the first snowfall of the year happened already in December. So now we are excited like any kid to have a White Christmas after such a long time! And we are here to cheer you up, too. So here are our cutest, nicest shots from this December…

The best of Budapest during the holidays
Fabulous scenes of Budapest Christmas markets. We just can’t have enough of Budapest during Christmas time. Then it snowed in Hungary! Of course, we took a walk the next morning right away.
Gödöllő, a pretty day trip from Budapest
We visited the Royal Palace of Gödöllő near Budapest. The castle park and its small Christmas market was a real white wonderland after the snowfall:
And we found a tiny Christmas market in Gödöllő’s center, too. No crowds, but a nice Christmas tree:
Does it snow where you live? Do you like it?
